SF KIDS
CINEMA INTRO
DIRECTOR / ART DIRECTOR
SWEDISH FILM INDUSTRY
SUMMARY
Playful animated intros for the Swedish Film Industry’s children’s movies in theaters and digital streaming.
I co-directed and produced the cinematic intro with Thomas Oger, bringing to life four spherical buddies whose personalities and antics combine to form the SF Kids logo. The sequences played before every kids’ movie in Swedish cinemas and on SF’s streaming platform.

SPHERICAL HAPPINESS
WHAT THEY WANTED
SF Kids needed a logo vignette to run before every children’s movie and on their digital streaming service. The goal was to set the tone for young audiences with something fun, quick, and memorable.
A short, playful logo sequence that worked equally well in theaters and online, engaging children from the first second and reinforcing SF Kids’ identity.
WHAT I DID
I developed the concept of four spherical characters with distinct personalities, choreographed like a spontaneous dance. After scripting and storyboarding, I built a full animatic in After Effects to lock choreography and camera. A traditional cel animator then expanded on it with expressive movement and character acting. I brought the final sketches back into After Effects to finish, composite, and deliver the polished intros.
WHAT HAPPENED
The sequences became the signature openers for every SF Kids film screening across Sweden, as well as their streaming platform. They set an immediate playful tone for audiences and gave SF a distinctive, character-driven identity.
ART FROM THE PRODUCTION
AND SO
This was one of those rare assignments where you get to design something kids will see again and again. The joy came from treating a logo as a character moment instead of just a stamp.
